Who Needs to Take a TLSAE course?

Do you want the luxury of driving around Hallandale Beach but don't have a driver's license? The D.A.T.A. Course

D.A.T.A. simply stands for Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness. It is a 4-hour course approved by the Broward County Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicle that will teach Hallandale High School, Off Campus Learning, and Florida School of Excellence first time driver's all that they need to know about road rules, laws and regulations, safety driving techniques and more, leaving them well prepared to take the DHSMV driver's license written exam.

All You Need To Know To Obtain Your Florida Learner's Permit

• Are you at least 15 years of age?
• Completed your Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education Course?
• Then simply, provide proof of identification, proof of date of birth, proof of residential address, and proof of social security number, as well as parental consent form if under 18
• Complete your written permit exam
• Pass a vision and hearing test
• Then, take your picture!
