What the Florida Driver License Knowledge Exam Entails
- The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions covering Road Rules and Road Signs.
- You must score at least 80% (40 correct answers) to pass. You have 3 chances to pass the exam online. (If you fail three times, you must take it in person at a Florida DMV office.)
- When you pass, your completion is reported to the state immediate allowing you to apply for your learner's permit.
- To receive your learner's permit you will need to be at least 15 years old, provide proof of completion of a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education Course, provide parental consent form if under 18 and required documents for proof of identity, and pass a vision and hearing test.
