1. Choose a banner image to use for your link. You may also use text for the link instead of a banner image.
- Right click on the banner graphic below
- Select “Save As…” from the right click menu
- Choose a location to save the graphic
2. Select your unique link below.
- Select the text by clicking and dragging across it with mouse. Make sure to get all of the text in the colored code box located at the bottom of the banner page.
- Right click and Choose Copy
- Open up your HTML editor, word document, E-mail, or other application to store the link information
- Choose Paste
3. If you are using an image, copy the image file from your saved location to your web server.
- Make sure to take note of the path where you are placing the image. (ex. http://www.yourdomain.com/images)
4. Insert the copied link text into your desired web page
5. Replace the text in between the Anchor Tags (<a></a>) that says “Insert image tag of link text here” with your text or image tag.
- To place an image use an image tag with the format <IMG src=”location to your saved image” any additional parameters you wish to add>
- For text links simply replace the text with your own
When a visitor from your site clicks on the link they will be taken to the DriversEdDirect.com site with your affiliate information and our system will keep track of that information. If a student registers after having come from your link, our system will mark that student as belonging to your affiliate account.
